"The Big Illustration" Development

This is the first developments of my "Big Illustration" which will make up all my individual illustrations in order to create one visual piece of design, So far I have illustrated the Flats and the Clock building which I have also rendered using Illustrator.
Overall I am happy with the flats appearance, the colours seem to represent the Character and the style of the flats which is what I wanted to achieve when I was rendering, they also sit well next to the Clock building and is an accurate representation of Perth since they are on the same street.
This complete change in style of architecture that appear on the same street show how Perth is changing, I love the clash between the old and new buildings and styles and it is something I hope to replicate in my illustrations.

The Clock building is very different from the flats which is why I decided to put them together, the Clock building offers an older historic appearance which seems to conquer over the Modernistic flats, The cracks and colour deterioration show how the building has aged and corroded in the years from heavy rain, this is something I need to work on in my illustration. Showing ageing through my illustrations is very important to justify which building are older that the others.

Next I am going to Create the "Fourth Bridge" a historic bridge that was build in March 1890, although it isn't in Perth it is very close to it and offers a foreshadowing representation of what you can expect to find in Perth ad the surrounding areas.
